This manga(Japenese comic) is based on the video game "The Legend of Zelda, the Ocarina of Time". You don't have to have played the game to enjoy the comic
, but it is sort of nostalgic to read it if you did play through all the same adventures.
My 7 year old son and I read through this comic together, and he absolutely loved it!
And, if your kids like this one, there are about four more volumes coming out over the next few months.

At the last minute one Christmas eve long ago I broke down and bought my son the first Nintendo, with Mario and the Original Zelda. I bombed at Mario. No hand-eye coordination. But I was fascinated with the thought and mind-puzzles associated with Zelda. I enjoyed it so much, I wrote a fan letter to Nintendo and they published it in Nintendo Magazine. From then on I was a big hero with my son and my nephew Danny who lived in PA and subscribed to Nintendo Magazine and found my letter of praise before I knew it was published. He called me all excited. Basically, I thanked Nintendo for creating a Thinking Boy Man's Game.
